Who we are
Our little story
We are Eva & Enric
We came to La Garrotxa, Catalonia, in 2022, after many years working in hospitality, looking for a slower pace of life and a simpler way of living and working.
Enric has been a chef for more than 35 years. He has also spent many years training other professionals. At Can Pei, he is back to doing what he has always loved: cooking for our home and for the people who come to stay with us.
I’m Eva. I have worked in hospitality for many years, mainly front of house. I love the human side of this work — welcoming people, looking after them and making them feel at home.
Can Pei grew from all of this.
From experience, from wanting to do things at our own pace, and from enjoying the simple things: good food, a walk in the mountains, a conversation after dinner or simply having time to slow down.
Our adults-only rural hotel in the Alta Garrotxa is our way of sharing this special corner of Catalonia.

Our 17th-century farmhouse is located just 1.5 km from the small village of Oix, in the heart of the Alta Garrotxa Natural Area, one of the most unspoiled landscapes in northern Catalonia. Does the rural house have a pool?
Yes, there is an outdoor swimming pool surrounded by gardens and romantic spots. -
